Jeff, thanks for posting this. You and I have both had our "run-ins" with militant NeoReformed types. I've never once met a militant Arminian who vilifies the Reformed. Yes I've read a few of those whackos on the internet, but in real life, no.
I therefore TOTALLY resonate in experience with Scot McKnight. Something is amiss in part of the Reformed camp. In my experience, most the camp is civil and - if not cooperative - then at a minimum affirmative of our evangelical "brotherhood."
But there is a loud vocal minority (growing???) that are no longer civil and are making divisive war in the church. What on earth is going on?!
So keep us update on McKnight's continued threads on this subject. I'm intrigued as to what he'll discover!
